Funkytowngrooves is an independent record label based in the U.K, the label was set up back in 2006 by best friends Anthony Calvert & Matt Murphy.

In this period FTG has managed to accrue a back catalogue of over 400 products and collected accolades such as “The number one label for reissued soul, jazz, disco and hip-hop”. FTG’s catalogue contains 2CD Deluxe sets, Expanded Edition’s and 2 Albums on 1CD, with nearly every title containing bonus material and also many previously un-released tracks.

All the music available is taken from the original studio master tapes and remastered by the highly respected Sean Brennan at Sony’s Battery Studios, New York to give you the best listening experience possible.
